What a year!
The world keeps changing in so many ways, and friendship between countries and people is important more than ever, and we are proud to be a part in the process of the Israel-UK New Free trade Agreement.
Which is a great demonstration of this friendship The IBCC.
Business Academy for Culture and Language continues to offer bespoke tailor-made British Business English formats, providing Israeli companies with important skills to succeed in the UK Market.
IBCC Board and Team continued the support and initiatives and have many hopes and plans for 2023 believing businesses and people will drive the change, because after all:

New Trade Agreement negotiation process and consultation
New FTA - IBCC has been working with Chief UK negotiator team and Israeli Ministry of Economy team, floating barriers and suggested improvements.
During visit of the UK Secretary of State for International Development Anne-Marie Trevelyan both parties shared concerns and hopes regarding topics to be discussed in the negotiation process.

Calcalist Mind the Tech in London
At the Mind the Tech London 2022 conference IBCC, organized and hosted with L&P UK tech-community leaders, a successful round table, on practical tools for doing business in the UK and the importance of bridging the gaps, diversity and cultures.
In a CTECH interview Anita Leviant, IBCC President said: "Brexit created a great opportunity for UK-Israel relations and the new Free Trade Agreement is one of those opportunities".

2022 International Women's day
International Women's Day BCC Chamber Women campaign was led by senior business women serving as Presidents and Chairs.
Anita Leviant, IBCC President said: "let's state the obvious: men and women are not equal, but also not all women are equal. we made progress but not enough. We need many more women in influential positions... everywhere where decisions are made that are shaping the life of half of the population".

Cyber week
IBCC supported the International Cyber Week 2022 that took place at the Tel Aviv University.

Annual Real Estate Event
2022 IBCC Annual Real Estate event took place at the beautiful hall of the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange at the heart of Tel Aviv.
It was held in cooperation with UK leading service providers: UMBT, Prideview, Profimax, SC&W and Virgin Atlantic, hosting high-profile Israeli investors.
This year, as a part of the IBCC Green Campaign each speaker, highlighted sustainability, and climate change considerations in their business.
Her Majesty the Queen passed away
Her majesty, The Queen served her people throughout good and challenging times with outstanding wisdom compassion and remarkable openness and vision.
She continuously gave inspiration to women and men across the world.
While mourning her passing with great sadness we admire and celebrate her years of devoted service and achievements started at the young age of just 26 years old!

Climate Change Chambers Panel
The Glasgow Climate Chamber hosted the final Climate Chamber City Roundtable of 2022.
Panelists from the British chambers in England, Scotland, Israel, Norway, Zimbabwe, discussed the next year, and how the Chambers Global Network can work together towards COP28.
