Member Engagement
The Israel-Britain Chamber of Commerce (IBCC) successfully launched the Breakfast Club, which hosts new and existing members for breakfast, networking, and sessions with inspiring key speakers.
Innovation and Industry Highlights
Fintech Week Tel Aviv 2018: The week focused on emerging trends in the Fintech world, covering topics from virtual coin and ICO to cyber issues, marketplace lending, and the future of banking.
International Annual Cyber Week 2018: For the 4th time, the IBCC was a partner, focusing on the growing risk and progress being made in the insurance industry in view of the increasing threat of cyber-attacks on businesses.
Annual Real Estate Event: IBCC President Anita Leviant and British Ambassador to Israel, David Quarrey, hosted 100 guests at the 8th Annual Real Estate event, featuring Mr. David Fattal as the guest of honor and key speaker.
Trade and Diplomacy
The Liverpool International Business Festival 2018: As the biggest business festival of its kind in the world, attracting over 30,000 delegates from more than 100 countries, the IBCC brought a delegation focused on global future economy and smart cities. Our umbrella organization, COBCOE, held their AGM during the festival to discuss the strength of Chambers across Europe.
Secretary of State Visit: The Secretary of State for International Trade, the Rt Hon Dr Liam Fox MP, arrived in Tel Aviv during September to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, as well as major Israeli business leaders.
Prince William Visit in Israel (June 2018): A historic year was marked by the first official Royal visit in the Jewish State's 70-year history.
