President
Anita Leviant
Anita is the ambitious president of the Israel-Britain Chamber of Commerce. She is also the head of LA Global Consulting which deals with consulting and leading global and financial projects, investments, and cross-border transactions. Earlier in her studies, Anita obtained an LL. B degree from Tel Aviv University Law School and is a member of the Israeli and the NY state Bars. She specialized in Corporate Law, Finance, and Liquidation and was an International Law Research Assistant to the Law School Dean at the Tel Aviv University She serves as a director of an NYSE-listed company, a member of the Corporate Governance Committee, and a Co-Founder of the Centre for Arbitration and Dispute Resolutions. Yet, all of that did not stop Anita from being a certified mediator, Council Member of the Israel- UK Tech Council, and member of the Board of the Federation of Bi-National Chambers. Anita is also experienced with the financial systems in the banks. She held several senior positions with Hapoalim Banking Group including EVP Deputy Head of Hapoalim Europe, Global Private Banking, and EVP General Global Counsel of the group, and served as a director in overseas subsidiaries of the Bank. The IBCC is proud to have such a determined leader and a president who always aspires for more.

Adv. Dafna Kovler
Dafna is a licensed lawyer in Israel who obtained her political science B.A. and M.A. from Tel Aviv University. The IBCC is honored to have Dafna on the board.

Ofra Preuss
Ofra is a recent addition to our team. She is an international communications executive and media consultant. She also specializes in developing and implementing effective communication and business strategies for leading companies, cutting-edge startups, and international organizations. Her work portfolio includes senior roles for UK News & World Report, a New York City communications agency, the GIBF Chinese Israeli biotech fund, the City of Guangzhou, Bank Hapoalim, and the United Nations. Positioned as a key figure in American Jewish-Israeli relations, Ofra maintains an impactful network. She holds a master’s degree, magna cum laude, from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government. The IBCC is fond to have Ofra, our new addition, on board.

Vice President & Treasurer
Sidney Lyons
Sidney was born and raised in London, before coming on Aliya as a teenager. He completed his high school education in Israel before serving as a first sergeant in the Nahal Paratroopers Battalion, where he continued to do active reserve duty for some twenty years. Sidney holds a BA in Agricultural Economics and Management from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Following the completion of his studies, Sidney spent several months traveling in the Far East and Australia, during which time he worked for Cole Myer in Melbourne, Australia. Sidney joined Mizrahi Tefahot Bank in 1991 and has held several positions in the branch network, International Activities, and Private Banking of the Bank. He is currently the manager of the International Private Banking Centre in Netanya. Sidney has been the representative of Mizrahi Tefahot Bank on the IBCC since 2004 and has served as honorary treasurer since 2006. The IBCC is proud to have an enthusiastic spirit around.

Yossi Kaspi
Yossi is a Banker at Bank Hapoalim B.M. with over 34 years of experience in a unique combination of Global Private Banking, International Markets, Commercial Credit, International Trade, Domestic Investments, and Housing Mortgages. He currently serves as Manager of Mortgages for Non-Residents, S.V.P, and Senior Mortgage Coordinator. His Banking education includes professional courses in International Private Banking, Credit Analysis, International Banking, Commercial Credit Analysis, Credit Decisions, Advanced Senior Management, and others. Yossi’s generosity and humanity are acted in his giving assistance in fundraising for "Akim" Israel – Voluntary Association dedicated to the welfare, advancement, and development of the mentally handicapped in Israel. Also has a high level of involvement in the Jewish Community in Montreal and in Manchester. He holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Major in Biological Sciences Pre-Dental Program from McGill University, Montreal Canada. And one more thing, he has a beautiful family comprised of his wife and his three children. The IBCC is proud to have the generous Yossi Kaspi on board.

Yoav Aboulafia
Yoav is the founder and managing partner of Aboulafia Avital Shrensky & Co' an Israeli CPA firm with offices in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv employing more than 60 accountants and tax specialists. Aboulafia Avital Shrensky & Co' is a member of Prime Global - one of the five largest associations of independent accounting firms in the world. Yoav holds a B.A. in accounting and economics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Until 2001 Yoav was an audit partner at Deloitte Israel. Yoav is a member of the Israeli Institute of CPA’S since 1987 and acts as a committee member of the Jerusalem branch.

Eliahu Izakson was elected as deputy chairman of the Israel-British Chamber of Commerce (IBCC) in the early fifties. He was so attached to the IBCC that in 1970 he resigned his position as Chairman of the Federation of Bi-National Chambers of Commerce in order to be elected as Chairman of the IBCC. He served as chairman of the IBCC for seven years and in recognition of his work there, he was decorated on behalf of Queen Elizabeth II, with a CBE. This is one of the highest honors granted by Britain to foreigners and Eliahu Izakson was one of the few Israelis for whom this award was conferred. Eliahu Izakson remained for the rest of his life Honorary President of the IBCC which was always very close to his heart.
