For over 60 years the IBCC has been fulfilling an essential role as the network and platform that enables business people from Israel and the UK to connect, converse and work together. Today we continue to provide relevant and valuable benefits to these business communities by remaining relevant to changing business needs, the strengthening of UK-Israeli ties and technological advancements. We also maintain strong contacts with the organizations that help facilitate investment and business relationships between the two countries.

Run by members for members

The IBCC is an independent non-profit organization. As a member-led organization our officers are all volunteers – see Our Team. Their aim is to work for the benefit of all members, hence our slogan: 'It's all about the people!'  To achieve our goals we organize or provide access to networking opportunities, professional contacts, seminars, trade visits, cultural events and more.

Working in Partnership with Government Departments and Global Business Organizations

Through our efforts, members are able to connect with key business organizations and government departments. Our work is supported by the British Embassy in Tel Aviv, the  UK Department for Trade, the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, the Israeli Manufacturer's Association, the Israeli Embassy in London and more.

In addition, we are proud to be part of the British Chambers of Commerce Global Network, having met their stringent requirements for governance and performance. This means members can also  benefit from our strong ties with business organizations around the world.

 

Relevant and Valuable Benefits

Our success can be measured by the results we have achieved. We were, for example, the first Israeli organization to introduce the Build-Operate Transfer / Public-Private Partnership concept. We have also introduced tender opportunities, been instrumental in a number of new stock market listings and helped companies navigate the relevant authorities when entering the UK or Israeli markets.
